Day 1 (Saturday): SPLIT (D)

Boarding in Split and the start of this Dalmatian discovery cruise. The cabins will be at your disposal from 13:00 in the port of Split. The first day you will meet the captain, the crew and get to know the security measures. In case of early arrival in Split, you can leave your bags on board. Welcome dinner tonight and night in Split.

After breakfast guided tour of Split in English – the old town was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Optionally, you can enter the Diocletian’s Palace, built in the 4th century by the Roman emperor Diocletian as his retirement home. At 12:00 departure to Omis, ancestral town surrounded by walls, the fort and stone churches located on the Cetina River, noted for its beautiful squares. In the past Omis was considered a symbol of strength and courage by pirates who fought against the Venetian Republic. Lunch will be served on board, along with a stop for swimming while sailing. Then we will navigate the Brac Channel towards Pučišća.

Pučišća is the largest town on the Island of Brac. There is no other place like this in Dalmatia. The villages of the island were adapted to the exquisite terrain in a natural way, respecting the ecosystem of the place and the fjords in which it exists. You could see how the valleys descend from the hills, to join between crystal clear waters. The Pučišća quarry used in antiquity by the Roman Empire was reopened in 1455. Its limestone has been used to build the columns of the White House in Washington DC and the Vienna Parliament, amongst many other famous buildings around the world. Night in Pučišća.

Hvar is the sunniest and most popular Croatian island. In the city of Hvar you can take a walk by the sea or visit one of the cafes, wine shops, bars or restaurants. Night in Hvar.

Day 4 (Tuesday): HVAR – BIŠEVO ISLAND (BLUE CAVE) – VIS (B, L)

The visit of the cave is possible if the weather and sea conditions are favorable.

Dalmatian discovery cruise – discover Croatia differently.

Lunch on board and navigation to the Island of Vis, one of the most mysterious islands and one of the most remote Dalmatian islands on the Balkan Peninsula. The island was closed to tourists for many years due to its Yugoslav military base and remote geographical position. As a result, the island is still quite unspoilt and has a special charm of the “Mediterranean as it once was“. Night on the island of Vis.
