Day 1: ARRIVAL TO POSTOJNA
Your hiking trip starts in the hometown of the Postojna Cave. Day 2: POSTOJNA – PREDJAMA – MT. NANOS AREA

After a short drive, you will start today’s stage in the village of Razdrto in the shadow of Mt. Nanos. You can hike to the top and enjoy a splendid view of southwestern Slovenia or follow the path along the hillside to the Vipava wine valley. Day 4: SLAP PRI VIPAVI – ŠTANJEL
Stage distance: 17 km (moderate level)
Today you will take a walk full of panoramic views while hiking the soil of the region known as Terra Rosa. It produces the ruby red wines of Teran and Refošk; They are rarely exported, so trying one in the heart of the Karst is a peculiar delight. Today you will head south to a picturesque little town particularly famous for its perfect weather conditions. Kopriva is ideal for preparing and air-drying the famous karst ham (pršut). Passing though the nearby village of Kodrovi you will find an interesting row of unique Mediterranean-style houses with entrances to vaulted cellars. Day 6: ŠTORJE – LIPICA – TRIESTE
Stage distance: 20 km (moderate level)
After breakfast, transfer to Lipica, where your last day of hiking begins. Lipica is famous for its Stud farm of beautiful thoroughbred horses whose. Your journey ends at an observation point just above the Habsburg port of Trieste. Day 7: TRIESTE – END OF THE TRIP
After breakfast the tour ends. If there is still any energy in you after trekking Slovenia’s Karst region, you can jump on a bike in Trieste and start a bike tour all the way to Pula at the south of Istria in Croatia.
