Itinerary

Day 1 (Saturday): DUBROVNIK (D)

The boat for your cruise from Dubrovnik to Poreč will be at your disposal in the Gruž port in Dubrovnik after 2pm. You will have organized transport there from the Dubrovnik airport or a hotel in Dubrovnik. On this day you will meet the captain and the crew. After settling in your cabin you will have time to explore the boat or Dubrovnik, before attending a Welcome reception followed by dinner. You’ll spend the night on board in Dubrovnik.

Day 2 (Sunday): DUBROVNIK – KORČULA (B, L, D)

After breakfast on board you’ll have a guided walking tour of Dubrovnik, an UNESCO World Heritage site. There are 1940 metres of Gothic and Renaissance walls still guarding churches and old palaces in the historic centre. After a lunch on board you’ll continue towards the fairy-tale town of Korčula and island bearing the same name. This is believed to be the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. It is also known as the Black Island due to the forests of black pines covering the island. This town is like mini Dubrovnik, surrounded by medieval stone walls and towers. The local guide will take you through its narrow, cobbled streets. Included is also a visit to the majestic Gothic-Baroque Cathedral of St. Mark. You’ll have a (included in the price) dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 3 (Monday): KORČULA – HVAR – SPLIT (B, L)

After breakfast you’ll set sails to the famous Island of Hvar, the longest island of the Adriatic. You’ll have a guided tour of Hvar town to see it historic sights: Renaissance cathedral with its still original tower and a theatre founded in 1612. Board back your ship in time for lunch, and cruise to Split where you’ll be arriving in the afternoon. Again you’re in for a treat, a guided walking tour through the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, protected by UNESCO. You’ll also see the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple and the Cathedral. Evening free to continue exploring on your own and to try some local cuisine. Overnight in the port of Split.

Day 4 (Tuesday): PRIMOŠTEN – NP KRKA – ZADAR (B, L)

Early morning sail from Split towards Primošten and the visit of Krka National Park, with its magnificent waterfalls. After returning to the ship lunch aboard and sailing to Zadar, a city of exceptional history and rich cultural heritage. You’ll have evening off to explore the town on your own. Night in Zadar port.

Day 5 (Wednesday): ZADAR – MALI LOŠINJ (B, L)

After breakfast you’ll have a guided tour of Zadar historical centre. There you’ll be able to admire the 16th century Port Gate with its Venetian lion, the Square of the Five Wells, Church of St. Donat, the Roman Forum and the largest cathedral in Dalmatia, St. Anastasia. After the visit, you’ll set sails towards north, with a stop for swimming in one of the small islands. Lunch aboard. While continuing the journey towards the town on the same named island – Mali Lošinj. Thanks to its sunny but mild climate, pinewoods and fresh air, the island of Mali Lošinj is an ideal place to recreate your body and spirit. Overnight on board.

Day 6 (Thursday): MALI LOŠINJ – PULA (B, L, CD)

After breakfast you’ll have some time to swim and afterwards enjoy the lunch on board. Once arriving to Pula you’ll have a guided tour. This is one of the most beautiful Istrian towns and an historic military port of Yugoslavia. You will visit the ancient Amphitheatre – the most famous and important monument and the third biggest preserved amphitheatre in the world. The rest of the day will be free to discover this Roman town on your own. On this night you’ll have a Captain’s dinner with live entertainment aboard the ship.

Day 7 (Friday): PULA – NP BRIJUNI – ROVINJ – POREČ (B, L, D)

You’ll continue sailing to the Brijuni National Park, once the personal State Summer Residence of Yugoslavian President Marshal Josip Broz Tito. On the island there’s an animal reserve with the outdoor ZOO, Tito museum and so much more. But the most beautiful part is its amazing flora and fauna and crystal clear waters. After the visit you’ll have lunch aboard. What follows is a romantic town of Rovinj one of the most picturesque towns filled with baroque Venetian architecture. You’ll conclude your cruise in Poreč saying farewell to your new friends at dinner in the local restaurant. This will be your last night on board.

Day 8 (Satudray): POREČ – END OF THE TRIP (D)

Disembark after breakfast. End of the cruise from Dubrovnik to Poreč.
