Day 2 (Sunday): DUBROVNIK – ELAFITI ISLANDS – SLANO (B, L, CD)

Breakfast. Transfer to the center of Dubrovnik, “the Pearl of the Adriatic” which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage List. Guided tour of the city with the local guide who will introduce you to the beauties of this magnificent city, passing through the Franciscan Monastery, the Rector’s Palace and the Cathedral of Dubrovnik. After the visit, the ship will set sail north. While sailing, enjoy views of the Dubrovnik city walls. Short stop at one of the Elafite islands for swimming. Departure to a small fishing village called Slano. Transfer to Ston, once a fortified small village, famous for its oysters. After exploring the medieval city walls, stroll to the oyster farm and oyster tasting, to learn more about oysters and savor this delicious specialty. Return to the ship where you will enjoy the evening at the Captain’s dinner. Night in Slano.

Day 3 (Monday): SLANO – MLJET – KORČULA  (B, L)

Today we continue to the Island of Mljet. Arrival in Mljet where you will join the Cruise Manager for a visit to its heart, the Mljet National Park, to enjoy a beautiful walk through the two lakes, the Big Lake and the Little Lake. In addition, on the island you can do different activities, for example, go bike riding, visit the lake and rent canoes or simply enjoy this picturesque and quiet island getting to know the legend of Odysseus and his beloved, the nymph Calypso. Form there you will continue the cruise towards the Korčula island. The island is supposedly known as the birthplace of Marco Polo. Arrival in Korčula which is one of the best preserved medieval cities in the Mediterranean, followed by a guided walking tour of this enchanting town surrounded by walls. Overnight in Korčula where you can enjoy a gourmet experience at the multiple restaurants and bars.

Day 4 (Tuesday): KORČULA – BIŠEVO – VIS  (B, L)

Breakfast. Early in the morning we sail to small island of Biševo to visit the Blue Cave. The cave is a magnificent natural phenomenon, but  sometimes weather conditions can be very unpredictable and the possibility of our visit will depend on the conditions. Never the less,  you will be notified of this ahead of time. Later we continue the cruise towards the island of Vis, which was once a strategic naval Yugoslav base and restricted to the public. Due to this isolation, Vis has a special charm – “the Mediterranean as it once was” making it really interesting to visit. Vis has been developed near the remains of ancient Issa, the first urban center in Croatia.  We recommend trying some exquisite local wines in one of the Vis traditional wineries. Optionally you can also visit the remains of the Roman thermal place, City museum or simply take an evening walk and enjoy the views. Overnight in the port of Vis.

Day 5 (Wednesday): VIS – HVAR – STARI GRAD (B, L)

Breakfast. In the morning we start the day navigating towards Hvar, the longest and the sunniest island in the Adriatic, where you will also be able to enjoy a swim before having lunch on board. Arrival in the afternoon in Hvar town where you will get to know the city on a tour of the town. You will also be able to see the Renaissance Cathedral with its original tower and the oldest community theatre in Europe founded in 1612. After the tour the boat will set sail towards Stari Grad, one of the oldest cities in Europe, where you will stay the night.

Day 6 (Thursday): STARI GRAD – TROGIR (Krka excursion) (B, L)

After breakfast an early morning departure to the old Dalmatian town Trogir. Trogir is sometimes referred to as “mini Venice” or a “mini Dubrovnik” because of its ancient walls, known also as a floating museum town – as it has a masterful architecture including some stunning Venetian palaces. From there you will head on with a bus, on an excursion to discover the beauty of the Krka National Park, home to more than a thousand animal and plant species, including amphibians, reptiles and endemic fish.  Krka is the only national park in Croatia where bathing is allowed. After the excursion free time in Trogir with an overnight stay in Trogir.

Need to know

NEED TO KNOW

This is a luxury ship cruise. It can also be done in the opposite direction from Split to Dubrovnik.

Small ship cruises in the Adriatic are a very popular way to explore Croatian islands and coastal towns without having to change hotels. Our luxury vessels have between 15 and 20 cabins for up to 40 guests, which provides a more intimate cruise experience.

In the afternoon the ship usually docks in the port of the visited island/town. Guided tours in English are organised in all mayor ports (Split, Dubrovnik, Korčula, Hvar, Mljet, etc.), but passengers can also enjoy free time to explore the visited places on their own, go swimming or have dinner in one of the local restaurants. Let us know if you want a private tour guide in any other language.

The language of communication on board is English. However, the staff will do anything in their power to make the cruise comfortable and safe for all the passengers, even if they don’t speak English at all.

If this specific itinerary is not exactly what you are looking for, check out other luxury cruises in our offer or opt for a more economic cruise option.
