Itinerary

Cruise Kvarner islands with us in a small ship through the charming northern part of the Adriatic Sea. The only thing you need for this trip is, a couple of shirts and a swimsuit, to spend 8 unforgettable days. You will visit beautiful places with a crystal-clear sea and beautiful Croatian beaches and enjoy Mediterranean food, both on board and in the cities.


Day 1 (Saturday): OPATIJA – KRK (L)

Cruise Kvarner islands starts with the departure from the port of Opatija at 13.00 with lunch on board and. Krk is the largest Croatian island and on the way you will stop to swim in the most crystal clear water you have ever seen. Krk has diverse towns of various sizes, impressive walks, tiny islands, and hundreds of hidden bays and beaches. In the city of Krk you can enjoy in one of the many bars or restaurants and relax. Night in the city of Krk.

Day 2 (Sunday): KRK – RAB (B, L)

After breakfast, departure to the Island of Rab, also called “The Island of Love“. After arrival, you can join our guided tour in English. You will see magnificent stone walls and Roman towers, churches, palaces, stone streets and old facades. Many streets and squares are like open-air galleries, as if artists had worked outside. Don’t forget to try the famous Rab cake, which recipe is still a secret. If time permits, take a walk to the Kamenjak Hill and watch the magnificent sunset. Night in the city of Rab.

Day 3 (Monday): RAB – ZADAR (B, L)

In the morning, departure to Zadar, sailing around the Island of Pag, with its unusual moon-shaped landscape. Stop at the small Island of Maun, where you will have time to swim. In Zadar you will optionally take a guided tour – today the city is the center of the region, but for many centuries, it was the metropolis of the Dalmatian region.

The rich cultural heritage is seen at every turn: the Roman forum from the 1st century AD, the church of St Donat from the 9th century AD, which is the most famous medieval basilica and the symbol of the city. The imposing and powerful city walls, numerous palaces and villas of former noble families, fascinate every visitor. The interesting monuments are the Sea Organ, a simple set of holes on several steps and Zadar’s Sun Salutation, a gigantic circle of 22 m in diameter made from glass plate bases representing the Solar System. Day 4 (Tuesday): ZADAR – MOLAT / OLIB (B, L, CD)

Breakfast. Early march to the island of Molat or Olib (depending on capacity in small ports) in the northern part of the Zadar. Enjoy the tranquility and serenity of the intact places. Tonight there will have the captain’s dinner on board and spend the night there.

Day 5 (Wednesday): MOLAT / OLIB – ILOVIK – MALI LOŠINJ (B, L)

After breakfast and early swimming, sailing to Lošinj, also known as “The Island of the Sun” where pines, wildflowers and herbs abound. Lošinj is one of the most popular islands in the northern Adriatic waters, for its hidden beaches and cool Mediterranean atmosphere. Walk to the Lošinj Aromati Garden or to the small village Veli Lošinj, which are easy to reach and explore on foot. Night in Mali Lošinj.

Day 6 (Thursday): MALI LOŠINJ – CRES (B, L)

Breakfast. After our morning swim, departure to the Island of Cres. This virgin island is a long and narrow island, full of olive groves, vineyards, oak forests etc. The islands of Cres and Mali Lošinj were formerly part of a single island. Overnight in the port of Cres, the medieval city with hidden squares and courtyards.

Day 7 (Friday): CRES – OPATIJA (B, L)

After breakfast, we go to Opatija. The views of the famous Opatija Riviera are the best from the sea. In the afternoon, arrival in the city. You can take advantage of our English guided tour of Opatija and stroll through the longest boardwalk in Croatia, the Lungomare. You can also stop at Volosko, a traditional fishing village. On your last night, enjoy going out and having an incredible time under the sky. Night in Opatija.

Day 8 (Saturday): OPATIJA – END OF TRIP (B)

After breakfast, disembark. And so your cruise Kvarner islands comes to an end.

NEED TO KNOW:

This is a standard ship cruise. See also our other small ship cruises in Croatia or opt for a private luxury cruise.

Small ship cruises in the Adriatic are a very popular way to explore Croatian islands and coastal towns without having to change hotels. Our vessels are very different from large cruise ships as there are only approximate 15 to 20 cabins for up to 40 guests. In the afternoon the ship usually docks in the port of the visited island/town so that the passengers can enjoy free time to explore it on their own, go swimming or have dinner in one of the local restaurants.

This small ship cruise has departures every Saturday between April and October. There is also a few Wednesday departures. Check with our agents all the available dates.


RESERVATION AND PAYMENT
To reserve your cabin, we will need a deposit of 350 EUR per person. In addition you will also need to provide your personal information (full name, address, date of birth).

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
The deposit is not refundable. If the client withdraws from the cruise, the following cancellation fee policy applies:

  • cancellation more than 35 days prior to embarkation: the deposit is retained;
  • cancellation 35 to 25 days prior to embarkation: 35% of the total cruise value is retained;
  • cancellation 24 to 19 days prior to embarkation: 50% of the total value of the cruise is retained;
  • cancellation 18 to 0 days prior to embarkation: 100% of the total cruise value is retained.

Prices are per person in double cabin.

Supplement for a single cabin is +50% of the price above.
Reduction for a third person in a triple cabin is -30%.
Reduction for a children up to 10 years of age is -50% in double cabins.
