DAY 1 | MARINA ZEA (ATHENS) – CORINTH – KEFALONIA

Boarding takes place at Marina Zea in Athens between 14:00 and 15:00. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a refreshing drink while preparing for the unforgettable journey ahead.

Take time to settle into your cabin, get acquainted with the vessel, and meet the crew along with your fellow travelers. Shortly after embarkation, the captain will host a welcome presentation followed by an important safety briefing before departure.

As evening approaches, enjoy a delicious Welcome Dinner served on board while cruising through the iconic Corinth Canal en route to the beautiful island of Kefalonia. Overnight sailing at sea.

DÍA 2: KEFALONIA

Start the morning surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of the Ionian Sea as the ship stops at a quiet bay near Sami for a refreshing swim. Dive into the crystal-clear waters and experience the stunning natural scenery of Kefalonia.

After lunch on board, the cruise continues toward the charming port of Sami, famously known as the filming location of the movie Captain Corelli’s Mandolin.

Spend the afternoon exploring at your own pace, visiting the magical Melissani Cave or enjoying a relaxing walk around Karavomilos Lake.

Guests wishing to discover more of the island may join an optional excursion featuring some of Kefalonia’s highlights. Explore the spectacular Drogarati Cave, visit the lively capital of Argostoli, stop at the Monastery of Agios Gerasimos dedicated to the island’s patron saint, and taste exceptional wines at a traditional winery.

In the evening, enjoy free time for dinner at one of the local restaurants or traditional seaside tavernas, where authentic Kefalonian flavors await. Overnight stay in Sami, Kefalonia.

DAY 3: KEFALONIA – PAXOI – CORFU

Early in the morning, the cruise continues toward the stunning islands of Antipaxos and Paxos, famous for their lush scenery, turquoise waters, and unspoiled natural beauty.

Our first stop is Antipaxos, a small island celebrated for its breathtaking beaches and crystal-clear sea. Enjoy time swimming in the transparent waters, relaxing by the shore, and savoring a delicious onboard BBQ lunch surrounded by spectacular scenery.

Later in the afternoon, we sail to Gaios, the charming capital and main harbor of Paxos. Discover its colorful streets, flower-filled alleys, and inviting local shops while experiencing the authentic atmosphere of island life.

As night falls, Gaios becomes an enchanting destination filled with cozy tavernas and lively bars. Spend the evening at your leisure, whether enjoying a romantic dinner by the sea or exploring the vibrant nightlife. After midnight, the ship departs for Corfu.

DAY 4: CORFU

Today we arrive at the captivating island of Corfu, where rich history and multicultural influences create a truly unique destination. Docking near the cruise port, guests can explore Corfu’s Old Town, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Corfu, also known as Kerkyra, reflects a fascinating blend of Venetian, French, British, and Greek heritage. Enjoy the day at your own pace discovering the island’s remarkable architecture, picturesque landscapes, and lively local culture. Guests interested in a more in-depth experience may join an optional morning trip to the Kanoni area. Admire panoramic views of Mouse Island and the Vlacherna Monastery, visit the elegant Mon Repos Palace and Museum, and take a guided walk through the historic Old Town, including the famous Liston Promenade and Spianada Square.

In the evening, return to the ship for a festive Greek Night celebration featuring traditional music, dancing, and authentic Greek cuisine.

DAY 5: CORFU – ITHACA

Wake up near the beautiful island of Ithaca and begin the day with a refreshing swim or a relaxing breakfast on deck while enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Following a flavorful BBQ lunch onboard, the ship sails toward Vathi, the charming capital and main port of Ithaca, famously connected to Homer’s Odyssey as the homeland of Odysseus.

Vathi welcomes visitors with colorful waterfront houses, traditional tavernas, and small local shops that create a warm and tranquil atmosphere. Spend time strolling along the harbor and discovering the timeless beauty of this legendary island.

In the evening, enjoy dinner at one of the seaside tavernas offering fresh seafood and traditional Greek specialties. Whether relaxing on board under the stars or wandering through the town at night, Vathi offers a memorable and peaceful overnight experience.

DAY 6: ITHACA – NAFPAKTOS O MESSOLONGHI

This morning, the ship departs from Ithaca and sails toward either the charming town of Nafpaktos or the historic destination of Messolonghi.

Along the route, the captain will make a stop at a beautiful beach, giving guests another opportunity to swim in the refreshing waters. Enjoy lunch on board while cruising through the scenic Gulf of Patras.

If the itinerary leads to Nafpaktos, guests will admire its picturesque Venetian harbor and the impressive medieval castle overlooking the town. Wander through narrow cobblestone streets filled with history and traditional architecture.

Alternatively, if the ship arrives in Messolonghi, visitors will encounter peaceful lagoons rich in wildlife and historical significance. Explore the waterfront and discover a town deeply connected to Greek history and influenced by both Venetian and Ottoman heritage.

As evening arrives, enjoy local flavors at a traditional taverna before the ship sets sail once again beneath the stars, heading toward the legendary Corinth Canal and the next stage of the voyage.

DAY 7 | CORINTH CANAL – AGISTRI – AEGINA

At sunrise, experience the unforgettable crossing of the impressive Corinth Canal, an engineering masterpiece linking the Saronic Gulf with the Aegean Sea. Enjoy the spectacular scenery as a new day of discovery begins.

Our journey continues toward the charming island of Agistri, a peaceful destination admired for its crystal-clear waters and natural beauty. Take advantage of the opportunity for one final swim directly from the ship while enjoying the serene atmosphere of the Saronic Gulf.

A light and healthy lunch will be served on board before arriving at the island of Aegina. Once ashore, enjoy free time to explore the picturesque town, stroll through local streets, or join an optional excursion featuring the Monastery of Agios Nectarios, the ancient Temple of Aphaia, and the highlights of Aegina Town.

In the evening, celebrate the final night of the cruise with the Captain’s Farewell Dinner, a special occasion filled with delicious cuisine, shared memories, and unforgettable moments from the journey. Later in the evening, the ship returns to Marina Zea in Athens, where the illuminated city skyline provides the perfect ending to an extraordinary Ionian cruise experience.

DAY 8 | DISEMBARKATION – MARINA ZEA

Enjoy your final breakfast on board as the cruise comes to an end. Between 8:30 and 9:00, disembarkation takes place at Marina Zea.

RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY

To guarantee your reservation, a deposit of 30% of the cruise fare per person is required within 7 days of booking. The final payment must be made 60 days before departure. All payments can be made via bank transfer (Visa, Master Card). All bookings are subject to cancellation if payments are not received by the scheduled date. Group policies may differ.

An administrative fee of 50 EUR will be charged for any changes made. Sailing dates cannot be modified within the penalty period.

A 50% single supplement applies to the cruise price.

If a cancellation occurs, the following charges will apply:

  • 240 to 120 days before departure: 150 EUR administration fee (per person)
  • 119 to 95 days before departure: 20% of the cruise fare
  • 94 to 65 days before departure: 30% of the cruise price
  • 64 to 35 days before departure: 70% of the cruise price
  • 34 to 0 days before departure: 100% of the cruise price

In all cases, cancellations must be confirmed in writing to EKORNA TRAVEL.

A single supplement of +50% applies to all cabin categories.
