Day 1: ARRIVAL IN KRANJSKA GORA
Kranjska Gora is an Alpine village with beautiful landscape and views of the Julian Alps. Also known for winter sports – Slalom World Cup is held here every year.
Day 2: KRANJSKA GORA – THREE-BORDER AREA – KRANJSKA GORA
(18 km total / total ascend 640 meters)
On the first day you can explore the village and enjoy in adventure activities like summer sledding and tobogganing or hike up the hill to the three-border area (Slovenia, Italy and Austria). The trail will take you through the forest and mountain meadows. From Tromeja – three-border area – there is also a beautiful view of the Julian Alps and Karavanke Mountains. On your way back to the valley you will visit the source of the longest Slovenian river, Sava.
Day 3: KRANJSKA GORA – MARTULJEK – PODKOREN
(19 km total / total ascend 500 meters)
Leaving Kranjska Gora we will proceed to the valley of Jasna. At the end of the valley you can see two mighty mountains – Prisank and Razor. We will continue with a walk through the forest, which leads to Martuljek Waterfalls – a natural monument below mountain Špik. (2400 m).

Day 4: KRANJSKA GORA – LAKE FUZINE – TERVISIO (IT) – KRANJSKA GORA
To really have family activity holidays in Slovenia in the morning we prepare the bicycles that you are going to use the next two days. From Kranjska Gora there is a bike path built along the old railway line that connected Slovenia and Italy. More than 200km of bike lanes are available, starting in Kranjska Gora.
Day 5: KRANJSKA GORA – BLED/KRANJSKA GORA
The last day of the tour will take place in the heart of Triglav National Park. The route will take you along the river Sava Dolinka. In Mojstrana we will enter the valley of Krma where we will bike through the green forests, passing the traditional farms and also important points of the Second World War. On the way we will stop in one of the traditional farms for lunch and try the typical food of mountaineers. Continue descend to Radovna Valley. The route will take you to the beautiful Vintgar Gorge, made by Radovna River. The gorge was discovered by chance in 1891. They built the wooden bridges and opened it to the public. We recommend you try the fish “trout” from Radovna River in the restaurant at the entrance of the gorge.
Day 6: BELD/KRANJSKA GORA – KAMNIK – VELIKA PLANINA – LJUBLJANA
After breakfast we leave towards medieval town Kamnik. We will the small streets and the legendary Kamnik Castle. After the visit we will take the cable car up to Velika Planina, a picturesque village of shepherds with wooden houses in the highlands of Ljubljana Basin. We return by the cable car and depart to Ljubljana where we overnight.
Day 7: LJUBLJANA AND ITS SURROUNDINGS
After breakfast we will go on a guided tour of the old town with a local guide. You can enjoy the free afternoon in the beautiful city or go on an excursion to Postojna Cave, the second largest cave in the world. In the cave you will be able to enjoy the wonderful underground world. The tour will start with an electric train and then walking among the stalagmites. After the visit you will go to the Predjama Castle, which is constructed in a rock and is famous for the legend of knight Erazem. Return to Ljubljana.
Day 8: END OF YOUR FAMILY ACTIVITY HOLIDAYS IN SLOVENIA TRIP
Transfer to the airport. End of the trip.
