DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO LJUBLJANA
Arrival at Ljubljana Airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Ljubljana.
DAY 2: LJUBLJANA
After breakfast, guided tour of Ljubljana. In 2016 this pretty little town was proclaimed the first European Green Capital. Your guide will take you on a stroll through the picturesque city center which is fully adapted for pedestrians and cyclists. Among other sights you will pass the famous congress building, the elegant national library, the baroque cathedral, the main square called “Prešernov trg”, the Triple Bridge and of course the Dragon Bridge – the symbol of the city. Last stop on the tour is the castle of Ljubljana. From there you can enjoy the views over Ljubljana and the mountains that are seen in the distance. DAY 3: THE JULIAN ALPS
After breakfast head to the stunning region of the Julian Alps to visit Bled. First stop will be majestic Bled Castle, Its terrace offers breathtaking panoramic views of the peaks of the Julian Alps and Lake Bled. Afterward, continue with a traditional boat ride, known as a pletna, to the island in the center of the lake, where you’ll find the baroque Church of the Assumption with its famous wishing bell.
You will then continue toward the Bohinj Valley, a privileged natural setting surrounded by majestic mountains and home to the largest lake in the country. This corner of Triglav National Park is known for its serene beauty and untouched landscapes, perfect for connecting with nature. DAY 4: SOČA RIVER VALLEY
In the continuation of this tour of Slovenia, this day is dedicated to discovering the Soča River Valley, one of Slovenia’s most charming regions. You will begin with a stop at Lake Jasna, an idyllic turquoise mirror of water surrounded by mountains, and continue on to Lake Zelenci, a small yet striking emerald spring that marks the symbolic source of the Sava River.
Later you will descend over the Predel Pass toward the Trenta Valley, the birthplace of the emerald-green Soča River. In this area, you will also visit Korita Soče, the impressive gorges carved by the river—one of the most photogenic and wild stretches along its course. The journey continues to Bovec and Kobarid to explore the former First World War frontier zone. During WWI soldiers of different nations were fighting, suffering and dying on the infamous Isonzo Front which was passing through this area. History buffs wills have the optionally to visit the renowned museum dedicated to this era. If you prefer natural attractions, you need to see the gorgeous Kozjak Waterfall. There is no time to see both. Return to the hotel in the Julian Alps area.

DAY 5: VELIKA PLANINA & KAMNIK
After a hearty breakfast, transfer to the Velika Planina plateau for an active day outdoors. Take the cable car to the shepherds’ village with its picturesque wooden houses. The circular hike through the cottages is easy and lasts about an hour. To regain your strength, try some fresh products offered by the shepherds, such as sour milk or traditional cheese. In the afternoon, visit the beautiful town of Kamnik and take a stroll through the old town, one of Slovenia’s most important medieval cities. Overnight stay in Ljubljana.
DAY 6: KARST REGION & THE COAST
The famous Postojna Cave, the largest cave in Europe open to the public, is a must-see. Its vast size is partially explored by an electric train, allowing you to admire its most impressive sections in just two hours. After this underground adventure, you’ll visit the charming Predjama Castle, a medieval fortress famous for its remarkable location on a cliff. After a photo stop in front of the castle, continue the tour to the Slovenian coast, where you will visit the beautiful Venetian town of Piran. With its narrow medieval alleys and high city walls Piran is the best preserved urban cultural monument in the Slovenian Istria also known for its long tradition of salt production. In the afternoon, return to the capital and overnight stay in Ljubljana.

DAY 7: PTUJ & JERUZALEM
Transfer to eastern Slovenia to explore the region of Styria. The first stop is Ptuj, the oldest city in Slovenia, known since Roman times. You will stroll through its medieval streets and ascend to its castle, which offers beautiful views of the town and the Drava River. In the afternoon, transfer to one of the richest wine-growing areas. A walk through the vineyard-covered hills will reward you with charming views of the Jeruzalem countryside. Wine tasting of local varieties at a traditional winery. In the afternoon, return to Ljubljana and overnight stay.
DAY 8: LJUBLJANA – END OF TRIP
After breakfast this tour of Slovenia will come to an end. Free time before we transfer you to the airport.
